Mumbai Indians defeated Rajasthan Royals by 25 runs at the Sardar
Patel stadium in Ahmedabad. Rohit Sharma pumps his fist in joy and the
Mumbai dug-out is absolutely elated! The players shake hands and it's a
well deserved victory for Mumbai! The run chase didn't begin that well
for Rajasthan as they lost Unmukt and Watson very early.
Karun Nair played some lovely shots to keep them in the hunt but his partners were just not willing spend quality time out there. They lost 5 wickets for 33 runs at one stage before Nair eventually ran out of patience. Pollard's one-handed stunner was the feature of Mumbai's fielding tonight.
Harbhajan bowled exceptionally well to make life difficlut for the batsmen. Hodge hit some lusty blows at the death to thrill the capacity crowd but the pressure got the better of him in the penultimate over. In the end, Mumbai were come comfortably by 25 runs to stay alive in the tournament. They now have to sit and pray for the other results to go their way for them to sneak into the last four.
